I am fortunate to have called Collin a friend, but only since 2004. I learned a lot about her from your interview, so thank you for that. She was an amazing actress, always powerful, always honest - as she was in life. One of a kind.

Thank you all for the nice words.
It does my heart good to know that
she was respected for the talent that
she had.
And I'm sure she would have laughed and agreed
with the "obscurity" comment above. :)
Thank you.

This is a wonderful interview and it's so wonderful that you were able to talk to this tremendous actress before her death. So pleased to have found this on the web, and thanks so much for doing it. She was such a memorable performer.

I just read in The New York Times (her obituary, sadly) that she was a frequent guest star on TV in the '60s; I didn't recognize her name until they said she was sometimes billed as Collin Wilcox-Horne. That name I remembered, meaning she must have impressed me somewhere along the way, so I searched for a picture of her and landed here to find your wonderful interview.

Doubtless she considered you a friend, so I send you my condolences today. It's pretty clear she enjoyed your chat.

I grew up in NE Georgia, and during my high school years, my English/Drama teacher talked about Collin. I'm great that you took the time to correspond with someone who deserves even more recognition! Thanks for the article.

Thanks so much, Stephen. I have recently become acquainted with Collin and have worked with her on local productions. It is a thrill to read of her work since she doesn't like to dwell in the past much!

Thanks, Stephen. Collin Wilcox has the talent to bring life and depth to even the most poorly scripted of roles, and I have always admired her work. You couldn't have made a better choice to kick off what will be a series of compelling interviews.

Thanks, Stephen. It seems the more obscure performers--and please don't take that as a knock on Miss Wilcox--always have the best stories.
