Who Are These Guys?

Okay, experts, identify these character actors for me:
That’s Gene Lyons on the right. Who’s the guy on the left?
And another familiar-looking unbilled actor from “Man in a Chariot,” the second-season premiere of The Fugitive (which omitted a lot of bit players from its credits throughout its whole four-year run). There are other uncredited actors in this episode, but these are the two whose names are right on the tip of my tongue.
This kind of thing drives me crazy. Help a Fugitive fan out!

Nah, these guys are bit players. The younger guy did a lot of stuff in the 60s and 70s; I’m just blocked on his name. Is it Steven Marlo?

Whatever a show like THE FUGITIVE lacked in production values–the occasionally unconvincing set (usually a police station)or laughably phony signage (typically the names of the businesses that employed Richard Kimble)–it and other series of the era certainly made up for in the faces of the supporting and bit actors. They almost always looked right in their roles as cops or punks or psychopaths. This is something lacking in television today. The verisimilitude in casting usually isn’t there.
I can’t help you identify the actors, but I understand your plight. I often find myself going to the computer and calling up actors’ names on IMDb after watching an episode of THE FUGITIVE or TWILIGHT ZONE or THE ROCKFORD FILES. Actors like John Larch, Jud Taylor, and Harry Townes come to mind. Jason Wingreen, too. (Thanks for asking him about Boba Fett.)

The actor in the second photo is Alan Dexter. He did lots of television from the earliest days…
